The college offers Two regular courses in Pharmacy:
1. Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
2. Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)
Pre requisites for entry and course completion
The degree of Bachelor of pharmacy of Andhra University will be conferred on a candidate who has satisfied the following conditions.
The candidate must have passed the intermediate examination of the ‘Board of Intermediate Education’ Government of Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the academic senate as equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology as group subjects and must have qualified in the entrance examination as prescribed by the university for being eligible to join I year of B. Pharm course.
The candidate must have after passing the qualifying examination pursued a regular course of study for not less than four academic years and satisfied the academic requirements as prescribed thereafter. The syllabus in each theory paper is divided into five units.
A regular course of study during an academic year means a minimum of average attendance of 75% of all the courses of the year computed by totaling the number of periods of lecturer and practical, as the care may be, held in every course.
Eligibility for Lateral Entry
- He/She should have done the course of Diploma in Pharmacy and should clear “Pharmacet” Exam.
All along the duration of the above said courses, the students would avail with of training / coaching in such areas like
* GATE * TOEFL * Spoken English * Computer Programming etc.
